Youth Workshop: Drawing Outside the Margins

Description: 

Expand on your love for drawing! Great for kids who love to draw both inside and outside the margins, this workshop will help bring new energy and fresh ideas to make exciting artwork. Create pictures using a variety of drawing utensils, mark making tools, and begin to incorporate mixed media. Each week, participants will start a new drawing project that introduces new techniques. Designed for ages 9 - 12, all levels of experience are welcome.

Instructor Bio:

Mari Skarp-Bogli is an interdisciplinary artist and contemporary art historian who creates sculptural drawings and paintings using industrial and natural materials. She also teaches studio art and art history at several Connecticut colleges and universities.
