Description:
Learn the chemical process to achieving platinum-like quality prints and see for yourself why Van Dyke Brown printing is a valued option for photographers. Because of its affordability and simplicity, this method allows amateurs and professionals alike to produce stunning handmade prints with rich brown tones. Jill Enfield will guide you through the process of converting your digital photos and printing negatives, which are used to develop and print on Arches platine paper. Going beyond the basics, participants will also have the opportunity to experiment with the effects of a variety of toners. This workshop is well-suited for all skill levels, whether you are an experienced photographer looking to refine your techniques or new to the medium. By the end of the weekend, participants will complete several Van Dyke prints of their images.
