Workshop Description

Explore portraits and express yourself in a fun, relaxing, and inclusive atmosphere. Work with mixed media materials and a variety of prompts to create a portrait that truly expresses who you are. Through demos, discussions, and individualized instruction, learn how to empower yourself and others as you express your own identity through your artwork. All materials are included and artists of all abilities are welcome!

 

Instructor Bio

Morgan is a 23-year-old artist living in New Britain, CT. They are a painter, digital artist and printer maker. They got their Bachelors of Fine Art from the University of Hartford, and majored in printmaking. Their work specifically focuses on portraits, pattern and color. They are also interested in LGBT themes and the human body. Morgan has two and a half years of teaching experience and loves helping others perfect their skills or learn new ones. When they aren’t teaching, Morgan helps run small local community and music events through other organizations.
