Intro to Using a Digital Microscope to Create Art, Changing Hearts and Minds - How and Why
Join Susan Hackett, artist in residence at Five Points Arts Center, for a campus walk and studio exploration. These workshops will be hybrid days spent both in the woods and fields surrounding the Five Points Arts Center and in the studio. 'Micro-hike' the trails sharing two hand-held digital microscopes to collect interesting images and some fallen material to examine under the tabletop 'scopes.'
Participants will then return to the studio to explore these treasures and select/print the best of these images on 4x6" photo paper.
Beginner friendly - no photography experience required.
