Description:
All levels are welcome for this relaxed but informative workshop held on Friday afternoons. Each person will have the opportunity to learn at their own pace. Participants will have the opportunity to work from a live portrait model. The instruction includes live demonstrations. The class is instructed in both English and Spanish.
Instructor Bio:
Kent artist Juan J. Moreno, born in Colombia, studied at the atelier of David Manzur in Bogota, Colombia, before moving to Connecticut, where he has lived since 1986. He studied figure drawing and portrait painting at the Art Students League of New York and studio art at Western Connecticut State University. His work has been in many exhibitions and is in private collections. Juan taught studio art and art history at the college level in Connecticut.
