Description:
Janet Iffland will be offering a monthly Saturday Morning Plein Air Class from late summer to fall. This October weekend date will be the third in a series of three. Janet will start class by explaining plein air concepts, the setup of palette, color choices and layout, brushes, canvas choices and mediums. The class will include a 30 minute demonstration. Participants will work independently with individualized critique. The Five Points Arts Center's rural campus provides several areas on site which are great for focusing in on trees, rocks, and field subject matter. Janet will also teach how to incorporate objects not in view, such as building structures. Janet Iffland's class is great for both participants with no experience to those who have been in the "field" for some time.
