Fees are listed for each individual session.  The Photo Critique on November 7th is no charge and all are welcome to attend. 

Ages: 16+

Members: $40.50 each walk

Non-Members: $45 each walk

Registration deadline: One week prior to each walk

Description:

Join Thad Kubis and other photographic enthusiasts for a series of photographic walks taking place at regional trails all within 15 minutes of the Five Points Arts Center. Each walk will be 2 - 3 hours in length and will visit various settings including local woods, lakes and ponds. This class is open to all skill levels and all photographic formats from the Smartphone to the 4x5 and everything in between. Thad will discuss creative composition, exposure challenges, and answer any photographic questions that arise along the way. Regardless if you sign up for  one walk or all three, you are welcome to join the critique on November 7th for feedback on your resulting prints or slides. 

Materials:

• A working camera system, fully charged Smartphone or digital camera.
• Sunscreen, insect repellent
• Appropriate footwear
• Water bottle
• Hat (optional)

Instructor Bio:

Thad Kubis has a broad base of photographic experience. He has done work in the areas of travel and leisure, manufacturing, banking, financial services, marine, fine art, stock, sailing, and editorial. He is an active photographic instructor, lecturer, and consultant. He has taught Smartphone/iCamera photography, DSLR, analog, large format, composition, and seeing/observation. His classes are offered in person and online, to groups, individuals and schools. He has been recognized by Apple as an Apple Teacher.
