Description:

Learn the fundamentls of human figure drawing, from gesture and simplification to skeletal and muscular anatomy. Participants progress from reference images and still life to a live model in the final two weeks, culminating in large-scale finished drawings in wee five. All skill levels are welcome. 

 

Open Studio Time:

Upon approval from the instructor, workshop participants will be granted access to the lab throughout the duration of the workshop. Aside from scheduled workshop hours, the lab is available for independent use Tuesday – Sunday from 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

All materials will be provided 

 

Instructor Bio:

Bryn Brunnstrom is a British-American Draftsman and Video Artist, who received their MFA at the School at the Museum of Fine Arts Tufts in Boston, Massachusetts. They specialize in illustration, comic art, and sculpture. Their work explores themes of philosophy and personal identity, with a particular focus on the drastic change's technology has brought to the human experience.
