Description:
Create a unique mixed-media ceramic artwork that functions as both a sculptural piece and an expressive picture frame. In just two sessions you will learn hand-built clay techniques and expressive surface coloring. This workshop is ideal for begining your ceramic journey!
Open Studio Time:
Upon approval from the instructor, workshop participants will be granted access to the lab throughout the duration of the workshop. Aside from scheduled workshop hours, the lab is available for independent use Tuesday – Sunday from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm.

All materials will be provided.
Instructor Bio:
Linda is an award-winning artist whose work has been exhibited in many galleries and shows, including the Salmagundi Club (photography), the Mattatuck Museum (sculpture), and various other venues in Connecticut, Washington D.C., as well as on the west coast. She is a secondary school art educator and holds a BFA from the University of Connecticut. Six years ago, she began working with ceramic clays, which answered many artistic questions for her as an artist. It is now her primary medium.

Workshops may be cancelled due to low enrollment if a minimum number of participants are not met. Registrants will be notified in advance and a refund or credit will be arranged (see workshop polices below for details).
