Description:
Bring your framing projects to the David Marks Woodworking Lab to get expert advice and assistance in furthering your frame building skills. These studio sessions are designed for those who have completed the "Building a Floating Frame" workshop with Vic Leger. Others with woodworking experience are welcome to enroll with the instructor's approval - call Five Points Arts Center if interested (860) 618-2167. Enrollment is limited to six participants per session, sign up for one or both sessions!

Instructor Bio:
Victor Leger has been painting since high school in Hartford, CT. He was fortunate to attend art classes every day at the Wadsworth Atheneum, under the tutelage of artist Peter Waite. Following this experience, he entered his first year at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn with a full scholarship as a painting major. After five semesters, he decided to try a different art school and finished his Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in painting at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1984.
Victor has won various national and international awards and his works are in private and public collections across the US and Canada. He has displayed in ten American museums in a show titled, “The New Reality, Realism in the 21st Century”.

Workshops may be cancelled due to low enrollment if a minimum number of participants are not met. Registrants will be notified in advance and a refund or credit will be arranged (see workshop polices below for details).
