Are you often asked to do “work for hire” as a photographer but are unsure about invoicing, copyright issues, model releases and more? In this practical “mini-shop,” you will learn from a professional commercial photographer all the joys and challenges of operating a small business professionally and profitably.

Instructor Bio:
Plamen Petkov is a New York–based photographer working across still life, portraiture, and time-based media. His current projects explore constructed objects and long-form image sequences sourced from live television. He is transitioning from commercial work toward projects supported by grants, exhibitions, and collectors. Clients include Visionaire, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, V Magazine, Elle, Wired, The New York Times, L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Artistry, Coty, and American Express among many others.
