Kid's Creative Hour

Dates: Saturdays, October 4, 18, November 1, 15 & December 6, 2025

Time: 10:00 - 11:30 AM

Ages: 4 - 8 years

Members: $9 per session

Non-Members: $10 per session

(Registration deadline:  Three days prior to each session)

 

Description:

Give your child an experience that will teach them creativity and confidence! Each session will present a new project and give parents ninety minutes of quiet in the FPAC hospitality room or walking trails of the campus. Weekly themes will be dedicated to adventure and exploring, all with simple, fun materials. Kids can problem solve and enjoy their creativity while learning through an artistic experience.

 

*Registration note: Sign up for any or all of the sessions offered. Please register under a parent or guardian's name and provide child's name as the attendee.

Instructor Bio:

Macayla Muzzulin, (better known as Kai Kai) is a book illustrator and mural artist with a lifelong passion for creativity and community. She has worked closely with kids through Unified Artsprograms, summer camps, and various teaching and workshop opportunities. She holds a BFA in Illustration from the Hartford Art School. She contributes to community in several ways—from working at Action Wildlife Zoo (in the petting zoo, museum, and front gate) to painting the iconic murals on the rocks just outside it. Creativity, connection, and community are at the heart of everything she does.

All workshops are held at the Five Points Arts Center, 855 University Drive

Workshops may be cancelled due to low enrollment if a minimum number of participants are not met. Registrants will be notified in advance and a refund or credit will be arranged (see workshop polices below for details).
