Description:
Start to explore the creative potential of painting with watercolor! Learn about mark making, negative space, pigments, transparency, and wet and dry techniques from this highly experienced artist and educator. Each week, participants will produce a painting based on the day's demonstration. No experience is necessary, all levels are welcome!
Open Studio Time:
Upon approval from the instructor, workshop participants will be granted access to the lab throughout the duration of the workshop. Aside from scheduled workshop hours, the lab is available for independent use Tuesday – Sunday from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Instructor Bio:
Terry Donsen Feder makes paintings and drawings about different levels and kinds of representation. Her work has been included in group and solo shows all over the country and in Ireland. Her work is part of many private, corporate and hospital collections including the Ruth and Marvin Sackner Archives of Visual Poetry, and the Sol and Carol LeWitt collection and the New Britain Museum of American Art. She has taught art at Central CT State University, Post University and the Hartford Art School.

Workshops may be cancelled due to low enrollment if a minimum number of participants are not met. Registrants will be notified in advance and a refund or credit will be arranged (see workshop polices below for details).
