Polaroid Transfers and Emulsion Lifts

Description:

Using your Smartphone and a provided Polaroid Lab device, you will transfer up to 8 of your photographs (archived or newly created) to instant film. Once converted to the film, the class will be instructed to separate the film from the backing stock and create dynamic etherical images. This is a time consuming and potentially difficult process, results will vary! 

Materials:

Fully charged smartphone and a cloth towel.

Instructor Bio:

Thad Kubis has a broad base of photographic experience. He has done work in the areas of travel and leisure, manufacturing, banking, financial services, marine, fine art, stock, sailing, and editorial. He is an active photographic instructor, lecturer, and consultant. He has taught Smartphone/iCamera photography, DSLR, analog, large format, composition, and seeing/observation. His classes are offered in person and online, to groups, individuals and schools. He has been recognized by Apple as an Apple Teacher.
